Graduate Psychodynamic Association

The Graduate Psychodynamic Association (GPA) is dedicated to promoting the understanding of psychodynamic psychotherapy and reducing its stigma in the current field. GPA is affiliated with the College of Psychology and is extremely active in the South Florida community. GPA works closely with the Southeast Florida Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology (SEFAPP) and the Florida Psychoanalytic Center. Members of GPA become educated about the implementation of psychodynamic psychotherapy, can get connected to local professionals in the field, have opportunities to participate in psychotherapy research, and feel prepared to uphold the efficacy of psychodynamic psychotherapy to colleagues.
