Nova Southeastern University's Department of Psychology & Neuroscience is proud to be hosting a week long interactive event for 11th and 12th graders. Led by NSU Psychology and Neuroscience professors, the Summer Brain Sciences Academy will be held on the Fort Lauderdale-Davie campus from Monday, July 28 through Friday, August 1, 2025.
During the Summer Brain Sciences Academy, students will be immersed in an academic adventure in which they will be exploring the fascinating realms of Psychology and Neuroscience through hands-on activities led by experts in the field. The purpose of the Academy is to help students expand their knowledge of science and to ignite their passion for learning about the fields of Psychology and Neuroscience!
Students should not miss this opportunity to attend the Summer Brain Sciences Academy. Spots are limited, so students should register now. The Academy's registration deadline date is July 21, 2025 at 5 pm ET.
The NSU 2025 Summer Brain Sciences Academy is intended for high-school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2026. The number of participants will be kept small (maximum 15) due to limited lab space and to facilitate individualized attention and optimal use of equipment.
Students must be available to attend each of the daily sessions 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on Monday through Friday for the one-week long program.
The NSU 2025 Summer Brain Sciences Academy cost is $550. This cost covers tuition, supervision, program materials and equipment. Lunch is not provided; however, students may bring own their food or purchase lunch at the NSU University Center.
