This non-clinical program delivers a comprehensive foundation of psychology theory and research, as well as covering all prerequisite courses needed to transition into a doctoral program. Embark on our General Psychology track or the Applied Health Science concentration for those in the health care profession.

Degree Completion
NSU’s Master in General Psychology program is 30 credit hours (10 courses). Students will complete 21 core credits and choose a nine-credit specialization track.
Applied Health Science Concentration
Examine psychological aspects of treating disease; build more effective clinical assessment interview skills; and learn more about the business side of psychology.

Will This Psychology Graduate Program Lead to Licensure?
The M.S. in General Psychology delivers foundational knowledge to be more effective in non-clinical practice careers or prepare for doctoral programs. However, the degree does not lead to Florida certification or licensure on its own. If your goal is clinical work or psychological services as a practitioner, we suggest these options:
