Education:
Lynnquell Gardiner, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. Her clinical background includes school-based populations, and individual counseling via private practice. She has also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children and families through evidence-based interventions.
Her research focuses on wellness, multiculturalism, and ecopsychology. Her recent projects examine Bahamian and Afro-Caribbean definitions of wellness, the role of nature and blue spaces in psychological health, and the experiences of international graduate students. She has also partnered on community-based initiatives to expand access to mental health care in underserved populations.
At the heart of her professional work is a dedication to the globalization of counseling and advancing research on wellness frameworks that reflect diverse voices and lived experiences.
