Professional Interests

Danielle H. Millen Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida and New York. Her private practice work includes conducting a variety of forensic assessments. She completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University, followed by a doctoral internship at New York University/Bellevue Hospital Center. She spent the last two years working at a non-profit in Manhattan, New York assisting individuals with severe mental illnesses who were re-entering the community from jail, as well as working with the Court on alternative to incarceration examinations.  

Dr. Millen’s clinical and scholarly interests include assessments; forensic psychology; severe mental illness; justice involved individuals; sex trafficking, intimate partner violence, false confessions, and juvenile delinquency.
