The Disability, Awareness, and Well-being Group (DAWGs) is a local chapter of the APA Division 22 (Division of Rehabilitation Psychology)’s Student Leadership Network. We aim to increase awareness of the foundational principles of Rehabilitation Psychology, and focus on advocacy and research to gain skills of different aspects of wellbeing and rehabilitation to benefit the welfare of those with disabilities and chronic health conditions. We actively participate in research projects, National Conferences, local philanthropies, and host guest lectures/webinars.
